The desktop dictionary V1.2 Beta and above has added "smart word picking" and "related query" features. When taking a word, the desktop dictionary automatically recognizes most phrases in Both Chinese and English and returns the full definition of the phrase or phrase. Click the "related query" link at the bottom of the word selection interface, you can easily switch to other query words related to the phrase, in order to meet more query requirements.
In addition, the smart word retrieval feature can segment a query word that is composed of multiple words. If the result is not exactly the same as the combination, the desktop dictionary will segment the youdao desktop dictionary

Clipboard Word picking desktop Dictionary V1.2 Beta and above also supports the "Clipboard word picking" feature. When this function is enabled, select a piece of text and click "copy" in the right mouse button menu or press "CTRL+C" to copy, a word selection window will pop up near the mouse, displaying the translation of the selected text. (Note: This feature is not enabled automatically by default. It can be enabled via menu-Option-Advanced.) In addition, clipboard word retrieval is independent of screen word retrieval, so the clipboard word retrieval function can still be used even if the screen word retrieval is temporarily turned off.
